A History Knight deepens their understanding of British and global history, learning to appreciate rival viewpoints, examine sources, expand their vocabulary and explore the importance of context.
BECOME A HISTORY KNIGHT
Just like watching a thriller, we follow the action of a period in history, and explore how it develops over the centuries with our expertly written programmes. We believe that knowledge grows best when it is accumulative with each lesson building up the information and skills explored in the previous weeks.
The clubs are an active exploration of the past, you learn about how parliament and our democracy developed, rebellions, revolutions, key scientific discoveries, and the split second decisions that changed our world’s destiny. Our workshops are hands on fun. Why would we want to read the name of a castle when we could rebuild it!
